The Association for Safe Bathing & Mobility was created by a group of concerned professionals from the walk-in bathtub industry. These individuals have been involved in the walk-in bathtub industry since the first systems were introduced to the US market over 6 years ago. Most people could not afford the expensive systems being offered, so the association was formed to provide consumers with affordable options without sacrificing safety, comfort, and quality.
With more than 35 million Americans over the age of 65, studies confirm that the aging population will continue to grow. As a result, awareness of walk-in bathtubs, and other in-home mobility safety systems is growing as more people want to be able to stay in their own home and maintain their safety, independence, and dignity.
Most people do not realize that seniors face mobility and safety challenges in their homes each and every day.
